If any of this sounds appealing to you then read on and discover more about India’s favourite national parks and sanctuaries.
Located in southern Karnataka, the camp is home to a large number of elephants, trained under naturalists. Here you can observe or participate in many activities with the friendly elephants (like bathing and feeding). This camp believes in eco-tourism, and hopes to set a trend to sustain more of India’s wonderful wildlife. The goal of this camp is to work towards saving elephants from extinction, and to contribute to the understanding of these beautiful creatures. Other activities at the camp include nature walks, swimming, boat rides, documentaries and safaris. Our tours : ‘Living the Ayurvedic Way’, ‘Body Mind Spirit Healing Tour’ and the ‘Vinyasa Yoga and Wellbeing Tour’ all spend a couple of days at the eco-camp.

As you wander through this park you’ll see ruins and structures of the past that give you a glimpse of the history of India. The animals here are so used to human traffic that they don’t scare so easily, allowing more frequent sighting and even some insight in to their daily lives. This park is most famous for it’s frequent tiger sighting, some visitors have even witnessed tigers hunting their prey.
