Day One

Arrive in Chennai and transfer to our lovely beach resort in Mamallapuram, a vibrant fishing town.

Day Two

This morning we have a guided tour of amazing 7th century world heritage monuments. The afternoon is free to enjoy the fabulous shops, relax by the resort’s pool, indulge in a massage or stroll on the lovely beach.

Day Three to Day Seven

Drive to Tiruvannamalai, enroute visit a heart warming children’s home. Tiruvannamalai is situated at the base of the holy mountain, Arunachula, a pilgrimage centre for 100s of years. While here, you will visit the hermit caves, Sri Ramana Maharshi’s ashram and one of India’s largest temples. You will also learn about Ayurveda and vedic philosophy. Massage therapies are available to indulge.

Day Eight

Transfer to airport for a short flight to Cochin, a delightful town in Kerala, one of India’s most relaxing and beautiful states.

Day Nine

Enjoy a guided tour of Cochin to see India’s oldest church, synagogue, Chinese fishing nets and the Dutch Palace. In the evening witness an exotic Kathakali dance performance.

Day Ten

Free time to experience Cochin’s wonderful shops, stroll along the waterside, indulge in a massage.

Day Eleven

After a leisurely breakfast we take a short drive to Alleppey for a relaxing overnight houseboat trip on the Kerala backwaters. We see first hand how life is lived along the waterways of Kerala.

Day Twelve to Day Fifteen

Drive to Varkala for our lovely beach resort stay. Relax and enjoy Ayurveda therapies, swimming in the Arabian sea, Indian cooking classes and an abundance of Yoga tours to india and meditation. Here we can rejuvenate our body, mind and soul as we near the end of our wonderful journey.

Day Sixteen

Transfer to Trivandrum airport for a short flight to Bangalore. Free time to shop before our final group dinner and flight home.
